About the Role
Conduct industry, market, company and competitor research for consulting assignments.
Study business models, revenue streams, market positioning and growth opportunities.
Collect, verify and organise financial and business information from reliable sources.
Assist in analysing financial statements, profitability, costs, cash flows and business performance.
Support the preparation of industry reports, company profiles and business research notes.
Assist with startup valuation research and comparable-company analysis.
Research funding trends, investment activity and investor preferences.
Support capital requirement and investor-readiness assessments.
Assist in preparing financial models, business projections and analytical presentations.
Identify risks, assumptions and relevant insights from available business information.
Maintain organised research databases and supporting documentation.
Work with senior team members to prepare research-backed client deliverables.
Education
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Students pursuing an MBA in Finance, CA, CFA or similar qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Basic understanding of accounting, corporate finance and financial statements.
Good analytical and numerical ability.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate research findings clearly.
